My name is Ali and I am a dog trainer and behaviour consultant who works with families on a one-to-one basis helping them to understand their dogs and together build a happy, successful relationship.

I have extensive experience having worked with everything from new born puppies, to over the top adolescents to adult dogs with very complex behavioural issues. In my previous role with Dogs Trust I was responsible for overseeing the behavioural care of 220 plus dogs in the Rehoming Centre at any one time along with nearly 5,000 dogs that had been rehomed since the Centre first opened in 2009.

When working with any dog my approach is to always strive to understand why they behave the way they do and through this help shape them into the well-rounded pets we all wish to have.

"I had the pleasure of working with Ali for nearly 6 years, her dedication and knowledge always amazed me and the care she gave, love she showed and compassion she had for not only the dogs in our care but all dogs and animals always stood out. She will always go above and beyond to help our 4 legged pals."

− Ciara Lester - Post Adoption Advisor @ Dogs Trust Dublin

"Skilful, patient, fabulous, enthusiastic and caring dog trainer. Ali has made a wonderful difference in the lives of the dogs at Dogs Trust. She was and still is an extraordinary support for the carers under her wing that work there. Her ideas and behaviour programs have helped the most worried and stressed dogs under her care."

− Tara Caldwell - Trainer @ Dogs Trust Dublin

"I don't know anyone who knows and loves dogs more than Ali. I've had the pleasure of working with and learning from her over the past 6 years and couldn't recommend her more highly. She has helped change the lives of thousands of dogs over the years and if there's a way to help your dog she will find it."

− Graham Maher - Puppy Walking Supervisor @ Irish Guide Dogs

"Working under Ali's guidance as part of the Dogs Trust Training & Behaviour team, I found her advice invaluable when implementing Behaviour Modification Programmes for dogs at the centre, particularly when dealing with fearful or dog-reactive dogs. Ali constantly updates her knowledge and skill-set through research and practical application of techniques. Dogs respond really well to her training style and genuinely light up when they see her which says it all! I would have no hesitation in recommending her service to anybody who needs advice in this area"

− Emir O'Farrell Trainer @ Dogs Trust Dublin
